The focus of our measures is the search for the cause by means of various test methods.
Among other things, our center offers a novel and innovative allergy diagnostic method based on molecular structures of allergens: the allergy biochip ISAC. The advantage of this method is a very specific statement for patients with pronounced or unclear allergies, especially food allergies. It is possible to examine numerous allergens at once and, for example, to distinguish life-threatening food allergies from so-called pollen-associated food allergies (cross-reactions) and to give specific advice to those affected.
